Request account deletion

How to request deletion

1. Email yadhuxk@gmail.com with the subject line Book Vault account deletion.
2. Send the request from the same email address used in your Book Vault account.
3. If needed, we may reply to verify account ownership before deletion is processed.

Email deletion request

What data is deleted

• Profile data associated with your Book Vault account
• Public profile visibility data, public library data, and public wishlist data
• Cloud-synced library and wishlist records tied to your account

What may be retained temporarily

• Operational logs required for fraud prevention, legal compliance, or payment reconciliation
• Backup records for a limited retention window where technically required before scheduled deletion

If any retention is required, it is kept only for the minimum period necessary for compliance or recovery operations.
